​​It’s Time for the Raptor Off-Roadeo!​ 

The Raptor name is synonymous with desert running and off-road adventures since the introduction of the original F-150 Raptor back in 2010. With three generations of F-150 pickups bearing the Raptor name – and now the Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor, along with the F-150 Raptor R  – Ford offers a unique lineup of high-performance off-roaders with ready to tackle anything in their path. 

What better way to experience that ability than doing so firsthand? Luckily, Ford now offers prospective Raptor customers and new Raptor owners the ability to learn the ins, outs, and capabilities of these amazing vehicles at the new Raptor Off-Roadeo program, which is held in the deserts just outside of Las Vegas.  

Hosted in partnership with Ford Racing, this program is simlar to Ford’s Bronco Off-Roadeo programs, which are designed for you to learn more about what goes into a Raptor, and how best to apply their capabilities off-road. Participants receive a deep-dive into the engineering behind Raptor-grade suspension and engine enhancements, and learn mroe about the differences between the four Raptor models available. They’ll also have the opportunity to hone off-road driving skills during this one-day instructional event by tackling the rough terrain of the Off-Roadeo course in a controlled setting. 

Inspired by the legendary Baja races, the Off-Roadeo course itself is short, but full of exciting maneuvers. You can also get a hot lap with a Ford Racing instructor to feel how a Raptor should be driven.  

This event is not just for Raptor owners. It for those who are “Raptor-curious” – those who appreciate these off-road vehicles and always wanted to drive one in their natural habitat. This is also an opportunity for enthusiasts to live out their dream of driving one.  

The goal is to help you understand your Raptor to take back to your daily routine – or, for adventures right here in Alabama and beyond.  

At its heart, this event is aimed at bringing all of the Raptor family together. That includes all generations of the F-150 Raptor – from the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 days to the 700-plus horsepower Raptor R. Plus, the Bronco Raptor and its agility to tackle smaller trails. Lastly, there’s the world-conquering Ranger Raptor, where it has taken every trail from here to the Outback of Australia, the jungles of Thailand and South America, the savannas of Africa, and farms across of Europe.
