The 2026 Ford Maverick Hybrid is known for returning some of the highest fuel economy figures of any pickup truck in this country. The 2026 Maverick has a very useful and straightforward cabin featuring plenty of tactile controls, easy-to-read screens, and a 13.2-inch center display touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration through Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system. 

When it comes to cargo utilization, the 2026 Maverick’s cargo area holds up to 33.3 cubic feet inside the bed’s walls. It also has a 30.4-inch lift-in height, making loading bulkier items easier. Plus, the 2026 Maverick incorporates the FLEXBED Storage System, enabling more secure and flexible storage inside.  

Speaking of the pickup truck bed, a Pro Power Onboard module is available with 110-volt outlets to be plugged in. That means you can work from the back of your 2026 Maverick on the worksite with the tools you need to get the job done  

The 2026 Maverick hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson Cycle four-cylinder engine, combined with an electric motor and rated at 184 net combined horsepower. According to the EPA, it is rated to deliver up to 42 MPG in the city, 35 MPG on the highway, and 38 MPG on a combined loop. The hybrid driveline is available on 2026 Maverick XL, XLT, and Lariat models.
